You’re very welcome to bring your own bike — it’s often the easiest and most comfortable option. If not, I can help you arrange a reliable local rental. I can guide you through locking and unlocking the bikes, which is a small art in Amsterdam. Family options, tandems, or child seats are available.
Yes, but it’s designed for people comfortable cycling in the city. We ride mostly on quieter streets and bike paths. I’ll guide you safely, set the pace, and make sure everyone feels supported. First-timers or less confident riders are welcome — I’m there to help you feel at ease.
Comfortable clothes and layers are key. Amsterdam’s weather changes quickly — a light jacket, scarf, or extra layer is always handy. Sunglasses and a bottle of water are recommended.
Families are welcome, ideally for children 12+. Because it’s private, we can adapt pace, take breaks, or adjust the focus. The tour touches on history and culture, not heavy topics, so it’s easy to follow and enjoyable for teenagers.
We ride in most weather conditions. I’ll adapt stops and timing if needed. Amsterdam is best explored rain or shine, and bikes are surprisingly forgiving!
